It was a cesarean section, as her favorite doctor is anti-natural birth.
Which means three-day hospital stay, a week of rest and three weeks of avoiding any physical activities.

Other than that, both the kid and Luiza are doing great.

But the anti-natural birth thing definately made me double take.

Most people feel that way about Brazil's thing for cesarean birth... it seems to be the more popular choice these days here in Brazil, and since Im not the one choosing between getting cut/going through labor, I let her decide.

Congrats, can't believe I kept missing this thread. Yes, another smart/cultured person in the world is a good thing.

Well, looks like he´s gonna be a skirt-chaser... he´s pretty quiet, sleeps up to 8 hours (we have to wake him up to drink milk in between) and lies awake staring around for hours without crying.

Yet whenever there´s a woman next to him, he´ll cry and promptly stop when she picks him up. And he never does that when I or my brother are near.

Only days old and he's already learning the game. Nice!

Dammit, days old and already more moves than I have. >_<

Yeah, I gotta try that crying thing sometime, man.
