Well, that's a bummer. One might have hoped they'd at least give them a couple of years to try and make something of it.
Guess we'll have to see if other people can now do better things with their IPs/licenses than what they've produced themselves the last few years.

That's what their plan sounds like. They want to farm out IPs without the need for an inhouse team.

It's probably for the best overall.

Maybe Ron Gilbert can get a crack at Monkey Island again.

There's a lot of rumblings that despite looking fantastic, 1313 wasn't shaping up to have been playing very well. Would have probably been another shitty Star Wars action game from LA.

I love the fact that some people are lamenting the Force Unleashed series. The first game was OK at best, and the second one was the biggest waste of money ever.

Don't mess with the Polecats!
You know what would look good with that nose ring?

*thunk!*

The bar![DOUBLEPOST=1365310292][/DOUBLEPOST]I kinda hope this means the rights to some properties, like Full Throttle, might be up for grabs. I'd love for Double Fine to get a hold of those games.

At the very least, those games should be properly available to get on Steam. I mean, yeah, you can pirate them and use the Scumm emulator, but to have them on Steam would be amazing.

You need a SCUMM emulator even if you legally own the games, which I do. They don't run on modern systems without it.

That other one, First whatever, was looking like a Black Ops II clone. It was pretty sad.
