So I come back from my vacation with a camera full of pictures ready to be uploaded. The happy days at the family's house near the beach, the nice trip to London me and my Friends took to celebrate that last year it was 10 years since we formed the group, and some other stuff I'm ready to share with the world...
But Facebook still asks me to install Java to upload the pictures.
The problem is that I'm completely unable to install Java! It starts the installation and, then, it interrupts "for unknown reasons".
I bet it has something to do with the fact that, as we couldn't find my Windows CD, a friend of mine installed me a pirated one when he formatted the disk, and this Windows can't be updated past the "service pack two" or something similar.
DO you know anything I can do to solve this, other than "switching to mac"?

Have you tried uninstalling all previous versions of Java?
I'm not sure... I downloaded the installer from Sun Microsystem's web page, but I don't know if it is installing Java from the web via the thing or from the thing itself.
