Why didn't someone tell me the greatest video games of all time were on iOS now?!? This is awesome. I'm just hoping I've forgotten enough to make them fun again.

I didn't realize that 11th hour made it. Sweet. I've often cited the adventure game as the best gaming that applies to the iOS. The Monkey Island series has been brilliant on there.

Never heard of te other games but Cyanworlds has been desperate for new cash flow, so they've been doing indie games and rereleasing ports to iOS for awhile. you should read TUAW more often...

I highly recommend the 7th Guest. I bought that with my first CD-ROM first semester of college. Creeped me out. Even the manual was spooky. I love puzzle games with stories. I think these were the forerunners of survival horror, most of which maintained the creepy puzzle solving vibe.

Oh yeah. Cheesy for sure in spots, but a beautiful haunted house exploration puzzler.

Great puzzle adventure games died with Riven. Myst Revelations was a good revival attempt, but "horror" type games just don't get me interested.

I just want it on steam :) I can't find my old disks.

I agree, adventure games (and as well turn based RPG's) fit well with the touch interface.
I've actually been waiting to see if anyone ever re-makes shadowgate (for NES)

I can still play the theme to the 7th guest on the piano. And I remember the words to "Skeletons in the closet," and "The game."

Old man Stauf built a house
And filled it with his toys
Six guests did he invite one night
Their screams the only noise

Blood inside the library
Blood right up the hall
Dripping down the attic stairs
Hey guests! Try not to fall.

Nobody came out that night
Not one was ever seen
But old man Stauf is waiting there
Crazy, sick and mean...

I just bought 7th guest for my iPad :) I love that game can't wait to play it.

My wife never played it before so it will be fun to play with her.
