I have a short assignment to do for my Teaching Elementary Mathematics course. We're supposed to write word/story problems to go along with a given equation.
In this case, it's 24 ÷ (4 +2). We're to put it in a measurement division story problem.
For example, our book has one that says "8 eggs are distributed 2 each to 4 plates." (8 ÷2 = 4)
Seems easy enough, but it's that (4+2) thing that's throwing me off.
Help?

Hurm. Got another one:
36 - (12+17) as a completion subtraction. Ex.: Sonda has saved $9. The CD she wants costs $16.
