Just finished the series. It was extremely stupid-cool which is fine in my book.
If I'm being honest, season 7 would have been a better ending point if they'd just wrapped up the stuff with haggar at the same time. Like the stakes had been raised enough in my opinion, so to go and raise them again didn't feel super necessary. Doing so meant having to go into territory that was weird and you just had to accept because of all the space magic involved. Still though it was fun to watch even if it felt like we'd taken a rocket propelled jump over the shark.
I really appreciate what the show did. The universe it built felt full and alive. There were plenty of nods to the old stuff. Visually it was amazing and when things happened it felt like it had real weight to it. Now that it's over I might go back through and watch it all together.
