Our Yoshi is almost Q-list famous!

This was buried in another thread, and @Yoshimickster didn't provide a link!

It starts out seeming to be intent on being mean spirited, since that's kinda Stern's schtick, but Yoshi actually seems to win them over.

Also, sorry Mick if you don't want the attention, let me know and I'll delete it.

"You just have a big, bushy beard!"
"Ayep."

EDIT: I didn't realize how recent this is. It's from today.

EDIT2: I've said it before, and I'll repeat it here. People look at weirdoes as weirdoes, and they aren't sure how to treat them, and so they start the "pecking order" ritual to make sure that everyone else knows what they think. But if the weirdo just writes it off, then the others start to get curious and maybe a little respect for the weirdo*.

*Just listen to the first one about the comedy duo**.
**Also remember the process through which he was accepted here, hmm?
Also completing @Yoshimickster 's name so he will notice this thread.

Nah its cool, thanks for making a thread for it!

Just a damn good experience, everyone there was really cool, and I did this fun bit where I prank called an Oklahoma talk show with the writers!

I really enjoyed the interview, Mick. I had no idea you had something of a cult following. Or if you don't, you sure as hell will after this. There's a Reddit thread about this, asking whether you were a potentially new "wack packer." Not being a big fan of Stern, I assume that's the usual group of regulars (like the insane conspiracy theorist at the end) that he uses to fill time or for laughs. BUT, most of them seem to agree that you're too self-aware of yourself to really be someone to laugh at. It seemed like Stern was ready to pounce on you, but you won him over. Kudos, man.

Though one thing that bothered me - and why I generally dislike Stern - was his fascination with your sex/love life (or, and I say this with all due respect, lack thereof). Why is that such a big deal?

(FYI, Mick, not one mention of Dilbert Pinkerton/Don Komodo in that list of heroes vs villains? SHAME ON YOU. :p )

That's probably Stern's thing. He just dresses it up to be part of the show, but really he's just indulging himself.

Yeah, I know. It's his schtick. It's just tiring after awhile during an interview.

No, I don't mean it's his schtick. I mean that it's Howard being Howard, but he just works it in under the guise of being part of his show. I see his desire to know everyone else's sex life as his personal "thing" and the format of his show just gives him an excuse to indulge himself and play it off like it's merely part of the show.

I considered that also, but I want you to think about Howard Stern's target demographic.
I then want you to think about what it would be like having them nosing around our forum.
I want you to think about whether you really want that.

We need some new villains, keeps the blood pumping.

Besides, they'd probably at least like the NSFW section.

I'm sure a few would stay after we cleaned up the mess that the influx created.
Also, Charlie's head would probably explode.

It would have been shoehorning in either Halforums or Dill. But he COULD have pimped Supervillainous because he was asked what webcomics he read. He did pimp PvP, though. Bad Yoshi!

And great job, man!

Still waiting on Wolfie to tell me if it was real or not, didn't really trust the picture.

BUT- Rob said a job might be possible with them in the future, so who knows?

Edit: And shit yeah I should've said Supervillainous, WELL- got half a thousand followers so I'll plug it there.

Holy shit, man! Might I say well done! Just don't forget us when you get famous and move on to better things. We might not be famous here, but we're a springboard for those who get that way!

For the record, my wife, a native NYer, loves Howard Stern--as do many of her NY friends. I'm pretty sure you guys just insulted the greater NYC area, and as Green Goblin found out, you just don't do that.[DOUBLEPOST=1433873126,1433873071][/DOUBLEPOST]You also forgot to mention how awesome Fade (the webcomic) is.

In a "God creates a stone so heavy" manner, can fade create a comic the he likes? :p

No! They have their own jars and shelves and I talk to them every night. Mine! My precious!

Autograph @Dave right on his puss-filled, infected leg. Here, use this nice, sharp fountain pen.

(I almost said "pussy leg", but I don't want anymore trouble with homonyms.)
