A software developer earning 6 figures hired a Chinese company for 1/5th of his salary to log on to his company via VPN and do his work for him. Sheer genius!
And he had other companies paying him the same! H made hundreds of thousands of dollars a year doing this!

I've seen others doing it, although this is a new level. Usually you inspect and tweak the work prior to handing it off to your employer, but this guy not only had the contractor turning the work in directly to the employer with no oversight, he also handed him cryptographic information so he could log in as the employee.

I would make him an executive, he clearly has what it takes.

Hey Terrik! You want to do some ChIP-Seq analysis? It pays really well. Let's say, $5/hr?

I would totally do this, except in reality jobs from China get outsourced to me.
