Do you ever get a payment declined when using a credit or debit card?
Been happening more often to me lately. Fraud detectors seem to be more sensitive. I have a Bank of America card and it declines half the purchases I try to make even though it is a legit card with funds available (heard the same from other BofA users too). I have a different visa that I just tried to use on Amazon to buy some shoes and I got an email and text asking me to approve the purchase before they process it. I suppose its good they are on the lookout for us, but its also annoying at the same time.
Had that happen to my wife in December. We were trying to order food for my daughter in Wichita and the bank went, YOU’RE not in Wichita! Had to call and talk to them to get the lock off.

I haven't had that happen in a while, though it has happened a few times in the last 10 years.

my Discover card regularly declines at Walmart due to fraud protection.
But, I can walk into some place like a tire dealership or a phone shop, and plunk down $2000 on it, and it doesn't even peep.
Go figure

Before I went to CA a couple years ago, I contacted my card issuer to let them know they might see a bunch of charges in CA and points between over the next bunch of months.
