Photoshop help.

So I need to have something done with Photoshop but I'm missing two things - the program and the ability. I tired using Pixlr.com but it looks terrible.

Essentially what I'm trying to do is get a wheel graphic to have almost random placement of colors/difficulty.

The wheel that I currently have now is a typical Trivial Pursuit wheel:

Wheel_Trival.png

But I need more possibilities, so I'm trying to make a new wheel with numerous chances:
Wheel_BLANK.png

What I'd like to have is 3 levels of difficulty for each color - Easy, Medium, and Hard - as well as the remaining 6 being things like "Challenge" or something like that. We're using the wheel for a Game Show/Trivia night at a local bar and want to have a randomness and fun to it.

Anyone able to help out or give pointers?

how many base colors?

Also, you probably want to do this in Illustrator (or some other vector program) so it can be more easily scaled.

What I'm looking for is the base six colors each on the wheel 3 times. One each for hard, medium, and easy. The remaining 6 spokes would be black with white lettering.

Amy has the right idea but has a different color for each spoke. I'll see what I can come up with as well. Frankly, the colors were pretty easy, it's the lettering I had trouble with. The free program wouldn't let me angle them the way they needed to be.

I'll choose both. I'll use Drifter's for now while I use Amy's as a template to work on it myself so I can learn to use this fucking program.

For future problems, you can actually get the Adobe CS2 suite for free from their website.
No, You Can't Download Adobe CS2 Applications For Free

Adobe scientist Dov Isaacs clarifies:
"On behalf of Adobe Systems Incorporated …
You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!
What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don’t require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available."

You are only legally entitled to download and install with that serial number if you have a valid license to the product!
The myth of free Adobe Creative Suite has been going around the internet for well over 2 years now, because even major news organizations don't check their facts before publishing.

It is software piracy to download that version of CS2. Might as well pirate something more recent if you're willing to violate copyright anyway.

Huh, interesting.

Although if you paste a crapload of keys to your site and make downloading it easy (plus not having to fuck with key authentication/cracking), then yeah people are going to think you're just giving it away. I only snagged PS out of the bundle, and CS2's version works well enough for what little I use it for.
