I don't know that I know enough to say. Looking at my 'already owned' list (which has no real hentai to speak of) shows what kinds of things I've liked in the past.So besides the obvious, do you have a genre preference?
Massively out of print afaik. I got the compelet collection for about 600 last year.If '90s era tentacle hentai is something you like, you got to get Urotsukidoji.
Damn. I still have them on VHS somewhere.Massively out of print afaik. I got the compelet collection for about 600 last year.
I don't mind it so much. I have Parasyte, which is pretty gory. And Attack on Titan and the Hellsings..and Akira had some as well (though I didn't list it in my anime, because I was only looking in the tv shows section). I guess I should list the movies I have as well:
That's a big list, thanks! And I wish I still had them on VHS :'(Each category is alphabetical order because that's how I'm browsing through my collection

Yeah, this is what I was running into when I was trying to find some of the old stuff I'd rented from Blockbuster and Hollywood Video back in the dayMassively out of print afaik. I got the compelet collection for about 600 last year.
I'll have more to say when I'm not at work.
I mean, anime comes in every genre like anything else. Really more a question of what kinds of shows and movies you like to consume.I don't know that I know enough to say. Looking at my 'already owned' list (which has no real hentai to speak of) shows what kinds of things I've liked in the past.
yup..stopped at the big W to get garlic bread for my spaghetti tonight, and had to pass through the electronics section, so I looked at all of their movies. Got the complete series of Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex and The Ancient Magus Bride. They had others as well..a whole half-aisle devoted to them, but some of them were the well known stuff I already have, some of them were stuff I'd heard of, but weren't recommended (Evangelion) and a lot of them weren't complete sets, so I passed them up.I did not expect to learn that Wal-Mart is selling the complete Black Lagoon. They've come along way from only carrying albums with radio edits.
yeah and I almost fell off a ladder when the alert came in.....I already did.

and selling super over priced "ULTIMATE EDITIONS" to suckers like me.Evangelion is one of those things that everyone has seen, but no one really talks about other than to meme on Gainax for being bad at endings.
The "watch count" isn't accurate, because I had to rebuild my Plex server and refresh all the metadata when I upgraded the drives.Oh my.
Well, be sure to let us know which ones you end up liking!
You may have noticed in my last dinner thread, there were TWO plates madeThat looks ambitious.
When are you going to find time to date?
--Patrick
I have both Black Lagoon and Cowboy Bebop on the server waiting to be watched. Urotsukidoji wasn't as easy to come by via legitimate sources. As I said in the Anime thread, Rumiko Takahashi (Inuyasha) series all have the same problem - Status Quo is God, and the only plot advancement is "this power is now obsolete, I need to master a new fighting move." Same thing went for Ranma 1/2 too.
If you want porn with a story, try Urotsukidoji.
If you want some of the best (non-porn) Anime out there, try Black Lagoon. Also recommended, Cowboy Bebop. If you get around to it, I'd also be curious to know what you think of Code Geass, which is not "the best anime out there" but is one of my favorites, warts and all.
And apropos of nothing, I found "Redo of Healer" to be a little too squicky to really enjoy.
Ahhh yeah, I guess it would be. I mean, I have them... on VHS, as you know >_< .... let me check a few of the mustier corners of the web...I have both Black Lagoon and Cowboy Bebop on the server waiting to be watched. Urotsukidoji wasn't as easy to come by via legitimate sources.
While I agree, I would recommend watching an actual isekai or two, to really feel the lampooning of the common crutches they use. It's been suggested earlier, but Konosuba is a hilarious take on the Isekai genre.
I've found a few copies of it, but so far they're all censored.let me check a few of the mustier corners of the web...
I...uhhh...own the entire thing on disc if someone wants me to say uhhh share it....Urotsukidoji wasn't as easy to come by via legitimate sources.
Well, I already found a "de-censored" version of the first movie, do you have Demon Womb, Return of the Overfiend, and Inferno Road?I...uhhh...own the entire thing on disc if someone wants me to say uhhh share it....
you want it @GasBandit @Tinwhistler ?
yes. I dont know how I would get it to you, but yes, I have all 4 discs.Well, I already found a "de-censored" version of the first movie, do you have Demon Womb, Return of the Overfiend, and Inferno Road?
If you've got the time and patience to rip and convert them to H.264 (or 265 even), I can get you an FTP login. How much upstream bandwidth do you have? If it's not a lot this may be a non-starter.yes. I dont know how I would get it to you, but yes, I have all 4 discs.
Hm, 6 Mbit would make for a really slow upload. I wouldn't want to ask you to tie up your connection for days.I only get about 6 Mbps up, but the ripping and whatnot I have the tools for.
OH these are the 1st gen DVD release btw, I have never been able to track down the JP Blu-rays. GOD I WISH.
