A shocker. Ray Liotta, the terrific actor whose career breakout came in the 1990 Martin Scorsese crime classic Goodfellas after co-starring in Field of Dreams, has died. He was 67.

Deadline hears he died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting the film Dangerous Waters. We will have more details when they become available.

Actor Ray Liotta says that thanks to Chantix, he was able to quit smoking. Although he played the tough guy in movies throughout his career, he wasn't tough enough to quit smoking on his own until he tried Chantix. So far, he says that his favorite role is being a non-smoker.

I suppose it's referring to how the guy was starting to make a comeback and he always deserved a better career than what he ended up with. I could've seen him pulling it off and putting out some good performances into his 70s
