The same thing just happened to me in the Funny Pictures thread, but then it was back to normal in the next one.

What Style are you guys using? I tried to update some styles last night and had mixed results (the UI.X ones seem to be the most persnickety).

Shades of grey (blue) since it's the only halfway decent dark style we've got.
And I had it happen again earlier, and it again resolved itself in minutes. Not a really big deal, but I never had it before so it's strange.

That is indeed strange, that's the same style I use and I haven't noticed it (that said, I don't leave reactions as often as most, much less as often as YOU)...
Let me know if you recognize a pattern in when it does and does not work. I'll see if I can find anything obviously wrong on the back end, too.
Whatever the default is. But it only happened on my phone.

Interestingly enough, I just sort of "forced" something similar to happen by resizing my window as small as possible... wonder if it's a CSS error or something...

Hmm, this just happened on my phone... The reactions got pushed off the side somehow.
It seems to be something with how the forum is resizing the screen for mobile viewing. I'll probably have to look at it after work tonight.
I don't think it's that. I "fixed" a couple other things besides the stream tab last night(like UI.X and the media embed plugin), so tracking this down could take a bit.
I was trying to NOT throw you under the bus, but if you're intent on diving in front of the wheels on your own, well....

Resizing my view on mobile sometimes acts as though the entire page is 50% or so wider than the actual forum edges. Maybe that's related.

Okay, now all the reaction images have vanished. The number of reactions is still there on the post, floating loose, but there’s no icon next to it. Also the reactions button itself is gone.

Damn it. Got sent a security update this morning. It was supposed to be compatible with the version we have but apparently not.
Guess I get to fix that, too.

The reactions all got flushed down the toilet again by the update. Will have to rebuild them by hand, again. May not have time to do so until tonight (either of us).
Meantime enjoy your limited time TP Run reaction.

Since it won't let me post a new message, I'm adding this as Ignored Content appears to be broken for me.
I'm getting an "Oops! We ran into some problems" when trying to access the Ignored Content section and everything I had put in ignore is showing up for me.

Well, I'm not getting the Oops, but the page is blank.

Confirmed to be working again.

Okay. I had to turn the listener off. The listener is what tells the software to load the addons. So I had it turned off to fix the stupid reactions thing. I just now turned it back on, which is what made it work again.
I know. The new reaction addon uses a different resolution than the old one, and doesn't scale the old ones up. So, if people want to headhunt/create new 30x30 icons for our reactions (looking at YOU @Celt Z )... please do.
Edit - the icons can be bigger than 30x30, I can scale them DOWN to that in the addon, but you'll want to be sure whatever it is, it still looks good at 30x30.
The new rating system has a search field! That's neat!
... the search is CASE SENSITIVE. That's idiotic. So searching for "Ag" gets you "Agree" but not "Disagree" and searching for "ag" goes the other way around.

I'm still only seeing Like, no other options. On mobile at least, haven't checked on desktop.

Anyway, imo, the previous "agree, disagree, informative, and need this explained" fit quite well. The other ones I think we can do better, like a shushing finger for "Spoiler" or something. Or a blushing face for "Not like that!", aka the tsundere icon.

Those are these same icons, scaled up. Discord scales up. This addon does not.
I guess I could use snipper to grab shots of them but if it's in the offering, I'd rather get a full facelift than put a third band-aid on a 13 year-old wound.

I didn't know if Discord would let you just download your original submitted icons from some directory in its admin panel.
If we do end up needing to resue any existing (small) icons, I will say that waifu2x does a decent job at upscaling stuff like this compared to Discord or ImageMagick. e.g.
original hug:

It's still kinda grainy/fuzzy. I'd like to get it just straight up re-done, but I don't have the patience to re-do the pixel art (I did the original hug and brofist icons in MFin' PAINT)

You can't just click the icon to add to the count for that reaction anymore.

@Dave The old way each reaction icon had a separate count next to it. Click on the icon, and you added to the count. So if someone already gave a post a hug, you could just click on that hug icon to hug it too.

That's because the old way used a different reactions add-on, one that is no longer supported.

Which is weird because I think it was made by the same people.

Ok, I think I fixed the thing where the list of reactions applied to a post overlap with themselves and the text.
Note to Dave: it just makes them LOOK super oversized on the reactions list in the admin panel.

Can anyone create one and must it make sense? Much sense?

It's not like the runnign toilet paper makes a lot of sense. But i think GB wanted to kee pthe list somewhat limited to avoid bloating it to unmanageable proportions, especially on mobile.

Running TP is adorable and I will die on this hill. Besides, most of the crap we do around here makes no sense.
Well, I was mostly dangling it as a carrot (banana?) to get Celt Z to redraw the icons we need resized.

As soon as remote schooling smoothes out and stops making want to crawl into an alcohol-induced coma every night, I'll give it a go. But if anyone else wants to take a shot instead, don't wait for me.
