Boy, this is just the week for randomly chosen TV reboots, isn't it?



The guys behind 21 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie, Phil Lord and Chris Miller are creating a rebooted pilot for cult 80's TV show, The Greatest American Hero. If you don't know, the show revolves around a timid school teacher who's gifted with Superpowers by aliens, kind've like Green Lantern meets Mr. Feeny sans the valuable life lessons.

I wonder if this time the teacher's name will be Mr. Chapman, or Mr. Manson.

Also, it just won't be the same without Robert Culp. Tommy Lee Jones could probably do it justice, but I doubt he'd sign on.

If theirs anyone who could do it its them, they have a pretty good track record.

I think this is a show that would actually deserve a reboot. I don't think it got a really fair shake the first time around.
