Sandy Banks wrote a great editorial in the L.A. Times about the city attorney's proposed changes to the current medical marijuana laws. The changes are draconian and would have a deeply negative effect on dispensaries that have been operating legally for years, not to mention patients who are not in a position to grow their own meds. It's especially depressing since I and many other patients voted for Trutanich believing that he was on our side.
