That bites.

As a huge James Bond fan, this one hurts me a bit.

He was definitely the best thing to come out of the Roger Moore films.

Sad day indeed. I loved him as Happy Gilmore's boss.

He was an interesting man to talk to. I had the pleasure to spend a day with him about 14 years ago. Funny, sharp-witted and fun loving with his fans.

He will be missed.

I saw the "he might be dead but we're not sure yet" notices popping up last night, was kinda hoping they'd gotten it wrong.
After all the tall-related stuff he had to deal with, I was kind of surprised he hung on this long.

Let's not forget his performance teamed up with Jackie Chan in Cannonball Run II.

All this time I remembered that as being Ted Cassidy (Lurch). I must've been mixing it up with "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" in my memory.

A damn good character actor, he will be missed.

My friend met him a few times when he spoke at his church. As many others have stated, my friend said we was a very kind and gentle giant.
