Hey, screw you, Lost Boys was my favorite movie for a good while. And it's a good movie, dammit.
I just meant everything he did after that pretty much sucked. And it was a good movie, just not the awesome sauce that too many people made it out to be.

It's the nostalgia factor... at the time, when I was a little kid (I couldn't have seen it when it was first released, I was 2 in 1987, must have been TV showings) it was the most awesome movie because it sort of was the first "non-kids" movie we watched. And it had vampires. VAMPIRES USED TO BE COOL!
They are just as cool as they ever were. They are just popular now and you can't handle it....
Am I doing this right?

No, no.. see, Vampires didn't use to fracking SPARKLE.
So in this case, it REALLY is a "they-used-to-be-different" kind of thing.

I'd be sad about any guy on the street dying from never being able to crawl out from under his addiction. I can only hope yet another story like this could spur some people that are in the same spot as he was to seek help from their family, friends, or doctor.

I passed this news along to Kati, and even without relating any of the other posts in the thread, her comment was, "Really? I thought Feldman would be the first to go."
Me, I'm Corey-free, so I have no knowledge/attachment.

He once asked my Brother in law to be his friend and where to buy percocet in Toronto. So my perception of him has always been that he was rather troubled.

Vampires used to be Keifer Sutherland. And they were metal.
Are they just trying to place blame or is someone actually specifically being implicated in the case? Are dealers to be blamed for the mistakes of the junkies?

Maybe they sold him crushed drano crystals and told him it was smack.
No, they think it may have been a reaction to a legal drug given by an "addiction specialist". Not sure what they do but most people in the rehab treatment business don't prescribe ANYTHING.

With all the doctor and pharmacy shopping he was doing, it seems he may have been supplying a pusher, or was a pusher himself.
