I keep a lot of old, mostly useless stuff around.. old ide cables, floppy drives, hard drive caddies, etc etc..

today I just sold an ISA style ethernet cable. $5.

(edit: meant to say "Card" not cable)

I'm confused. ISA Ethernet cable? ISA is a motherboard interface.. Wouldn't the CARD be ISA? Do you mean the old 10base2 Coax ethernet cable?

Or do you mean AUI?

I got a PC that still has all 3 on it...AUI, BNC, and 10/100 RJ45, all on one card. I wanted to be ready no matter where I went with it.

sorry.. meant ethernet CARD. not cable.. brain got confused in terminology. It also had bnc connection on it too. BTW Patrick, the Samsung LCD monitor I recently fixed, 2 years old (!!!) which I still have for sale in my office, has BNC loop capability on it.

For 10-base2? Or for component video? I've seen BNC component video on monitors as far back as the late 80's.

I could use a packrat or two. I've got an old machine that a friend didn't want to cart off to his new apartment. It's 10 years old at best and has an ancient nvidia AGP card. The card is only barely able to keep up with even the most basic of X environments. I'm tempted to just plunk down $30 on newegg for a 5200 unless someone has better ideas.

check Ebay first. I remember seeing 5200's at Walmart even until a year or two ago, the last I saw they had one up to 256 megs.
