[Bug] Search not working?

The last few times I've attempted a search, it's taken more than a minute, and I've given up rather than letting it continue.

Is something preventing searches from running properly?

Not as far as I'm aware. Let me test it out. Maybe I have to reindex the search cache.[DOUBLEPOST=1358654762][/DOUBLEPOST]Just tried a search and it worked fine. But I'm reindexing just in case.

Perhaps I'm being impatient. The types of searches I do still stall for me though:

1. Go to a big thread, such as https://www.halforums.com/threads/kags-cosplay-thread.27560/page-28
2. Put "flickr" in the search box
3. Put "stienman" in the user box
4. Check "Search this thread only"
5. Click Search

Ah! It's not the board search but the search this thread addon! That changes things. Hold on.

Well, I thought I remembered something about that but I was mistaken.

There is an addon that lets you do more with thread searches, but I don't have it. I checked a few other XF boards and they have the thread functionality as well. So there's just something messing up. Not sure what yet.

I found what I wanted with the regular search over all threads, restricted by user.
