So, why play Smite, you ask?

Because this is how the Egyptian Goddess of War and Hunting expresses her exultation after winning a match.

The whole game is so srsbzns, and so silly.

Basically it's League of Legends but more FPS-ey and less RTS-ey. Free to play with premium currency for cosmetic stuff like skins and emotes.

I found out about it by watching this JonTron video.

I played Smite pretty regularly for a while. I got in when they had the deal where you could pay 25.00 and unlock all current and future gods.

I like the game a lot. Bastet and Guan Yu are my favorite heroes.

A friend of mine is a huge streamer of it. She tried to get me into it but I just don't like MOBAs.

Arena mode only though.
