Seems he's in a standoff RIGHT NOW with police. He's accused of pulling a gun on a woman about 3 am and she ran out & called police. He's now barricaded in his house. He through out a duffel bag filled with drugs and weapons. And since he's a felon...

According to Chris Brown, he woke up to the police, he's not barricaded inside, and he's completely innocent.

The live feed is absolutely abysmal - all they are doing to fill time is to read people's tweets. I'm trying to find a real news kind of feed. This one is stupid.

It's technically not a barricade, as he has no legal obligation to go out and talk to the police. They have no evidence yet that he has broken the law, and cannot enter his property without a warrant. So until a warrant is served, he's legally allowed to just stay in his home and ignore them.

Smells like affluenza?

They'll get the warrant. It's not like he has a history of violence or anything.

They have probable cause. A woman claimed he had a gun and threatened her with it on the property. That's all they need, and therefore it is a barricade situation.

They do still need a warrant, though. I was going to post the same as you but I looked it up and I'd have been wrong.

They have a warrant now and are searching his house. What a piece of trash though (not that this is new).
