It looks like something strange has happened to the member list dropdowns. Now, they never change from the beginning of the user list.

Just sorted the list by HalBucks.


But seriously, what am I supposed to do with these? I think the only reason I'm that high on the list is cause I've never spent any.

I'm just assuming. I actually have no idea how the system works, but I have an obscene amount of them, and it's not like I'm leading the forums in number of posts or trophy points (I don't know what those are either, actually), so I didn't get them that way. My only theory remaining is that other people have spent theirs enough that I've wound up in the top 5.

I'm a thousand-aire! The 4th richest user on Halforums!

(and I did spend some halbucks back in the days when you could actually spend them.. to force changes to other users' titles for example).

Disabled for a bit. They said they fixed a bug but didn't. Apparently when you searched for a name it wouldn't search. It showed the list of users, but started at the top so no matter who you searched for the top name was @li3n. Who name fucks with the auto tagging system.

Seriously, though, can we actually do anything with the HalBucks or are we just all hoarding and building them up like Ebeneezer Scrooge?

Check your avatar info right next to your post. Apparently, you have 734 HalBucks. I'm not sure if this is "swim in a money bin" levels around here, so check with caution before the dive.

EDIT: Checking some of the other counts, it seems like you're more in "wading pool" or "shallow pool" levels. Me, I'm just at "puddle" level.
