Tiger Direct has already owned the names (and made them web-only) since the respective companies both went bankrupt, but now they are jettisoning the last bits of baggage associated with the old names. Come 2013, their legacies will live on only in Wikipedia.

Heh, I remember when TigerDirect was a colorful catalog full of overpriced crap. Over time it has morphed into my store of first resort, though Newegg is a close second and Amazon isn't far behind that.

Back when the tiger website was mostly crap, they lost me on first impressions. Maybe a year from now when I build my next gaming rig, I'll give them some of my parts business.
