Whaaaat (Ok, it's not so inaccurate, but the 'communist' label is wrong)

Maybe it pandered to you because of your location.

Hmm.. I'd say it's actually the opposite. A combination of considering non-capitalist = communist and the fact that economically I consider myself to be less of an extremist precisely because I'm in Europe, but the test is not calibrated for that worldview.

Anyway, that 100 impressed me a bit, but besides that and the word 'communist' it's accurate.

The text is identical and these are the numbers:

I have to concur about the communism thing. The test seems to equate not liking the current breed of capitalism as wanting communism. This is wholly inaccurate to my world view.

It's not a perfect dichotomy, but it isn't bad. Capitalism, in the sense of this test, is merely saying people should have control over their finances, whereas communism is merely saying that the government should be involved in how people are allowed to spend their money, or should take an active hand in redistributing money so things are more even.

Note that the test doesn't equate socialism and communism.

I don't like the way that this thing scores socialism. I rather don't think I'm a socialist, but the questionnaire doesn't delve deeply enough into things like regulation. I have nothing against businesses making money, but I'm totally against rampant non-governmental oversight because businesses will almost never do what's best for the community or their workers - they are beholden to the shareholders and their own massive salaries. So I don't think of myself as a socialist, but as a pragmatic capitalist. The free hand of capitalism is a fallacy.

And I think I'm more tender than 37.5, for goodness sake!

Okay. First off, a centrist with many strong opinions? I can live wit that. Secondly, this test is horribly skewed towards the USA. I think the American government doesn't spend enough on welfare, I think the Belgian does too much. I can't pick based on the Belgian use of social welfare, can I? Secondly, the questions are deliberately set to confuse or to muddle things together. Two statements in one sentence, with just an agree/disagree, but no possible way to say I agree with one and disagree with the other? That's BS and renders the whole test untrustworthy and unreliable.

The US population, generally, skews up and right of center, so you're still quite left and libertarian within your political sphere.

Remember, on this graph, the Libertarian/Authoritarian scale is mostly socially weighted - the Left/Right is the economic portion - and really I think that it would be more correct to reverse that.

• Radicalism - This is more or less a measure of how much of an activist you are. Higher scores indicate someone who's willing to attend protest marches and such; lower scores indicate someone who either doesn't want to rock the boat - or figures it's useless to do so.
• Socialism - In the US, we would call this the liberal vs. conservative debate. High socialism scores indicate you probably voted Obama and/or Democratic in the last election; low scores indicate Romney was your man - and you vote GOP.
• Tenderness - This would be a measure of not just empathy, but how you look at the world. High scores indicate you have a pretty positive outlook on life; low scores would indicate you've either been burned by life or seen way too much "bad" in the world that you're jaded.

On the whole, I can agree with this... I feel like I'm a bit more empathetic than that, but I can see how I've gotten a LOT more jaded in the last 5 years...

Also, just for comparison (let's see if this works...):

Considering my recent escapades in a lack of empathy, I'm no longer surprised by my scores. I had to have a chat with my boss about not being the "fighter" out there pounding on everyone.

Again, I'm surprised Gas had the higher tenderness score than I did.

No moreso than me. Maybe you were having a bad day.

Too much weight must be given to certain questions. I am not that tender, and I tend to lean much more right than left. It seems like I was a bit more of a libertarian last time I did this.
