Yeah, I know. I got the notification a few months ago, and moved to windows 10 semi-permanently. I'd been dual-booting all these years anyway. but interestingly enough, now there are some games that ran fine on windows 7 that are absolutely refusing to run on 11.

It's just further cemented my conviction that this is my last windows-based gaming PC. If and when this current one gives up the ghost, I'll just be steam deckin' it going forward. And if I can't play the latest first person shooters, then so be it. 90% of what I play is indie pixelart crap anyway.

Have you considered a Linux based desktop?

That's basically what the steam deck is, for me.
