Storyline

As far as I can see, this has not been done in this Forum so I thought That I would give it a try.
The idea is to write a story with anyone adding five words at a time. The only restrictions are:

Maximum of five words per post.
No consecutive posts.
Stay within the rules of the Forum.
No plagiarism.

To get the thread started...

Joe was scared, but he
