SPOILER WARNING GOT DAMN

but no, Mad Men is by far the best show on TV right now. It's gonna jump The Wire if it has another few seasons as good as the last. FUUUCK.

oh my god, this show
Yeah, including tonight's episode. I was wondering where the plotting was going to take us; I was pleasantly surprised at how completely jarring the JFK assassination became as a plot device. I couldn't believe at how they could relay the sheer devastation of the events as they unfolded.

I think it's amazing, too, that they could make a tight script that holds many thematic elements together using the JFK assassination and still make his assassination feel alien, foreign, and frightening, instead of a thematic plot device. We get so wrapped up on the internal struggles of these characters--especially compared to last week's episode--that we were completely blindsided.

One thing that confused me--I'm foggy on the details apparently--is why Sterling's daughter seems so young, naive and petulant. I don't remember her being like that at all, what did I miss?

Already stoked for the season cap. And pissed that it's going to be months before I can get my sweet fix of the best fucking show on television.
