Announced today that Tina Turner has passed away. She was 83. Incredible performer.

She is one of the Queens-Emeritus of rock n' roll.

One of those people for whom the term "Iconic" is both appropriate and yet also falls short.

Simply the best.

Better then all the rest.

I was around for her renaissance.
And it was great.
