A-ha-ha! That's what you all say, but it's clear now, after 27 years of winning absolutely zilch, that the one clear way to winning contests is to sell your soul* to the devil**.

Haven't put nearly as much time into it yet, but loving what I have played. FYI, for those of you who have played before, do NOT pick normal mode. It's CRAZY easy to the point of not even being fun. You may even want to move past veteran if you're playing a class that's beefy.

Quick question before I start playing: Never played Torchlight 1, never played any Diablo games, is there anything I should know before I dive in?

Pick up and sell everything. If your inventory is getting full, transfer it to your pet. If it's inventory is getting full, send him to town to sell.

If you've played WoW, the color conventions for weapon/armor quality are the same. Grey for normal items, Green for Good, Blue for superior, etc...

other than the actiony aspect, it's just like any other RPG in skill trees and allocation of atribute points.

I love that I can make my pet buy Identify scrolls for me while he's in town. So fantastic.

What is not as fantastic is how long it is taking me to set up my Runic account so I can play online.
