True Blood Season 3

For getting back together with Sookie and having incredibly graphic sex with her?

I loved the Burbon Whopper werewolf begging for his life with Jessica.

And the explicit man love from Eric leading up the the best stab in the back while I fuck you from behind ever!

Ugh, I'm catching up with Season 3 and the one thing I can agree with in this thread.

Tara needs to fucking die.

No, for setting an example for Jessica that makes her renounce to Hoyt, then not living up to it himself. Poor Jessica :(

Holy fuck that was an ending..

"And now for the weather, Tiffany?"

lmao Russel is the man

That was a fantastic episode!

So much great normal stuff, so much great paranormal stuff!

"We need you to bless the jello."

Another solid episode! Erik remains awesome, I expected a little more Russel though, and that was some fine pussy at the end! The V trip out session was weird, I think they are attempting to establish some more background for Lafayetts freind.

Also;

"You said you would take care of me!"
"I promised you nothing but a job and great sex."

Well they finally revealed what Sookie was, bout time. Yes, she and her brother are fairies. Her brother actually does have a "power". In the books he is extremely charming and charismatic, which is why women are attracted to him so easily. If they follow the books..
he should be "kidnaped" at the start of the next season, by the panther were's from Hotshot.

I was also pleased to see they introduced a Wiccan. Book four deals with Witches and Wiccans a lot, it and it kicks off a massive battle toward the end.

Hey Mav, could you please start using spoiler tags? I know the show technically doesn't follow the books to the letter and things might change, but they are also often exactly like the books. So if you're going to talk about things that happened in the books, be aware that you might accidentally be spoiling the show too.

This season rules, but there are so many plotlines in the late part of this season that I just don't care about.
Tara's? Definitely.
Sam and his brother? Definitely.
Arlene and that alien looking waitress? Definitely.

Yeah, it's sad that about the only main plot I give a shit about is the main one.

They could have completely cut the Jason vs younger QB plotline and no one would ever have noticed. Also I hope all the meth-dealing werepanthers go away forever

Well there is only one episode left, so expect most of those story lines to serve as the foundation for a primary Sookie storyline next year.

Lafayette - voodoo/shaman magic quest
Jason - werepanthers, V as an invasive part of society
Sam - shifter versus were, setting up more acceptance of extra weird life forms
Waitresses - wiccan and alternate magic introduction

I see them all as just creating a larger palette for magic beings, magical interaction away from vampires for the series to build upon. I think they goofed the maenad storyline by not doing this first. So instead of being forced to accept it as true, we have examples of smaller examples to ease the way. Example: werepanthers are now easier to accept since there are werewolves and shifters flushed out in earlier storylines

Also Eric is bad ass and I think that his offspring could have killed Bill any time she wanted.

Also MOAR JESSICA!

And I totally freaked when Hoyts mom was revealed to be behind the whole girlfriend plot.

The finale was ....

well it was the finale....

Felt really weird, didn't seem to be any serious cliff hangers for the major characters and solved the Russel problem in a way that doesn't solve it at all. Though it does make for a hilarious method of sending vampires to jail.

So next season is witches and fairies as the prime focus points obviously.

And please let the haircut mean that Tara is leaving!

Be honest now, how exactly would you have dealt with the Hoyt intervention at work?

Well, we finally get to see that Bill really is an asshole, and Eric still rocks.

And seriously, does Bill think he can win that matrix-fight at the end? Yea..

I actually thought the Matrix fight was going to be pretty evenly matched. The Queen is not THAT old, and doesn't seem to have been doing much of her own work. Right now I'm not sure that I care if EITHER of them win, but I think the fight would be balanced enough to be interesting.
