Waze

(Almost) Ten years later, the Google has finally decided it will soon claim yet another victim.
Google said it planned to maintain Waze as a stand-alone service [but] It's hard to take that too seriously given that Google said Stadia "is not shutting down" two months before announcing Stadia would be shut down.
Google enveloped Waze like an amœba back in 2013, and now the digestion is almost complete, soon to be assimilated into the behemoth that is Google Maps.

So long, Samantha. Your memory will live on in our hearts.

I recently came to really like Waze. It's way, way more up to date much faster than Google Maps

It's more likely having to combine the data is an extra cost, coz i doubt the dough isn't going to the CEO, no matter what legal name any of the subsidiaryies have...
