I posted this in the game night thread, but I'm going to repost here with times.

Tonight and Tomorrow at 9pm EST I would like to try to arrange a game of Monster Seeking Monster. It is a Jackbox game in which we are all Monsters on Monster Tinder trying to find dates to score points. The catch is we all have secret monster powers and score points in different ways.

You don't need to own the game or use Steam to play, you just need to watch my Twitch stream (twitch.tv/AnnaDei) and have access to an internet browser at the same time. You can also come on Discord for voice chat while we play, but it's not required.

Please let me know if you are interested in either or both of these times. If you can't make it right away, that's fine too.

Talking is not required! Most of the game is done through text messages. Talking in Discord is completely optional, and was just brought up because I'm sure some of us are going to get snarky. ;)

Monster Seeking Monster part 2 is tomorrow! If you missed part 1, you should come to this! I will have audience turned on in case we get an overflow of people this time.

ALSO, if anyone is interested in helping me test out how well Drawful would work as a Twitch stream game, I am thinking of trying it out tonight. If I can get a few people to post that they are interested, I will boot up the Twitch Stream around 9:30 EST. (Ping to @Celt Z in case this is also a game she is interested in and doesn't think to check today)

I might keep the room code hidden and post it on Discord every round to keep randos on Twitch from joining. We had a few do it last night while playing Drawful, and while at least one of them was fine, several just left in the middle of games, like our second game of MSM last week. If we have a lot of people who don't want to sign up for Discord, I'll reconsider, or just PM the info to you if you ask.

Also, there are several different games in the Party Pack we can try if we get bored of MSM after a round or two.

Bump, my internet last night kept getting random lag spikes and disconnecting my stream (even though we could never find anything wrong on our connection), so I'm not sure how things are going to work out, since it could have just been a one night thing.

That said, I'm gong to put this off until next week, just in case it's still acting weird tonight, so plan for 9:30pm EST ON JANUARY 13.

That seems kind of redundant, given that she has to stream it for us to play it, and you autohost her (unless you've stopped doing that).

Basically, unless you stream something else, you were going to stream it anyway :p

I have a bunch of people on autohost. And it chooses randomly. So I'd have to physically host her, which is easy as pie. Would that really count as me streaming, though? I have a couple regulars that wouldn't be able to follow along unless I was streaming it as well. I know that's convoluted, but it is what it is.

Hrm, I've got mine set up to prioritize based on the order of the list, and I make sure HFers are at the top of that list (I'm autohosting you pretty much every single time you are streaming, provided I'm not streaming myself :p)

I don't know if that "counts" as you streaming though.. it doesn't autonotify your followers when it happens, and it doesn't archive the stream to your past broadcasts. People would have to just.. kinda... be already tuned in to know it's gonna happen.

A lot of normal headphones that people use with phones have mics build in, the sound quality is shit but they are cheap. (You can also connect to discord with your phone and talk that way, @Terrik used to do it all the time before he got eaten by dental school.)

I am contemplating doing my next Jackbox night on Mixer instead of Twitch, because I hear that the delay is a lot lower. The only thing that *should* change is where you need to watch from.

So either I figured out a magic fix, or Comcast got their shit together in the last week (lol), but I think I have the low latency streaming set up for Mixer without it fucking up after 2 seconds. So if anyone would like to try it out this Saturday (11/17), let's do it. 9pm EST.
