What good Gamecube games did I miss?

I bought the Cube for Metroid Prime (a disturbing number of perfect 10 scores on LOTS of review sites), and after finishing the game, I thought to myself that if I didn't buy ANY other games for that console EVER, it was money well-spent to get the GC just for that game alone. It's THAT good. And then they came out with the 2nd one, which was awesome, and the 3rd is for the Wii, which was a really really good game (something was lacking, I dunno quite what, but something intangible IMO). Still, if August is a release of all 3 with Wii-controls, that's probably worth waiting for in terms of cheapness if nothing else.

Others have mentioned in passing, but I agree with F-Zero GX. Really fun, a GREAT sense of speed in it, looks beautiful with progressive scan output, and really REALLY hard on the upper difficulty levels. Definitely for the hardcore racer who needs PERFECTION to win, and not for the "blue shell -> win" gamer (way too much blue shell BS in Kart for the Wii IMO, though that's still a fun game).

Sunshine is good up until the point you need to get the severely BS and un-fun shine sprites. The whole blue coin mechanism was IMO the WORST idea they had there. Way too many of them required way too much BS to aquire, and ultimately I never did a "complete" finish of the game because I didn't want to do the massive run-around for little symbols that it would have required to get ALL of them. Just not worth it. Galaxy rocks, and the few "really really hard" parts of that are only a few, and you KNOW you can do them, not the "where the hell do I go now?" feeling that SunShine gives you. It's OK, but I'd definitely only pay bargain-bin prices for it. I'll admit it had some pretty unique things, and I did enjoy (and curse at times) the "classic" platforming levels.

It's out for the Wii now. It has different control schemes, but you can still use a GC controller - making it the exact same game. It's really designed for people who missed the first one on the GC. As one of those people, I highly recommend it.

Those were the only parts of the game I actually liked.
i liked them for the most part, but my GOD the camera was horrible for those sections. shitty camera angles + bottomless pit style levels + precision jumping = PAIN ON AN UNIMAGINABLE SCALE.

In that case, wouldn't it make more sense to get a copy of the GC version at a reduced price and just plug in the GC controller?

If the Wii controls make it easy to control (like Diablo), instead of the awful tank controls, heck, I´d buy the entire series, Zero-3 again, because I love the games, but I hate the frigging tank movement.

In that scenario I'm spending more to buy the game and GC controller. It's cheaper and easier to just buy the Wii game, which is only $30.
