What's your Ringtone?

This question in the Kags AMA sounded like a good general question for the forum, to me.

What's your ringtone? Do you personalize ringtones for various people?

Only fair that I start, I guess.

My default ringtone is the NFL on Fox song -

Which is kinda ironic given that I don't follow football at all. I just like the song.

I have all my coworkers in a group, called "coworkers," and I assign to that group a ringtone based on the Season 3 opening credits music of Babylon 5 (skip to 0:44):

My father was hugely nutso into Warcraft 2, so his ringtone is Human theme 04.

My best friend's ringtone is Chop Suey by System of a Down because he has anger issues.

There are various others but I don't remember them off the top of my head.

Oh and my notification sound is the classic star trek communicator noise.

My general ringtone:

The one I have set for Aussie:

My dad: Iron Man. My mom: Celtic music. My mother-in-law: Flamenco guitar.

General text: something that sounds like a doorbell, but not exactly.

Silence. I don't have a cell phone.
Still? I thought you'd fixed that.

My ringtone is currently the Voidwalker "Why do you call?" sound bite (from our previous thread). It's too quiet for my taste, I keep meaning to normalize it, but haven't busted out the audio software yet to do it.
I want to go through and assign some other custom ringtones, but am still considering going back to my original plan, which was to record 30sec of silence and make that my default ringtone, and then give custom "noisy" ringtones to the people I actually care about.

Also, I rendered the first 30 seconds of Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cattivo as a ringtone for Cranky to use as he sees fit.

I briefly considered setting an ex's ringtone to "Dear Agony" but a) that's a bit immature and hyperbolic, and b) I actually *like* that song.

I never used it so I bought my wife a new one and gave mine to my daughter. Since I'm not DJing any more I find I'm paying $40 a month to carry around a device that I never used. I mean, there have been a few times when it would have been handy, but nothing I couldn't take care of without one.

Yeah I resisted forever for the same reason. But then, my wife already had one, so the additional cost was the same as a separate landline, and I gave in.

...I have way to many:
My Mum has Edelweiss by The Honey Trees
My Dad is the NCIS theme song
Brother is Big Bang Theory theme song
My friend Brad waffles between the James Bond theme song or God of War
Friend Emily is New Perspective by Panic! At the Disco
Friend Natalia is a House of the Rising Sun cover by Lauren O' Connell
Friend Josh is Batman - the Adam West one
Nate is Bow Chicka Wow Wow from Phineas and Ferb
My in-laws are all Psych related. My mother in-law is just the regular theme song, Travis has the Scary Sherry scream, Riley has the Bollywood theme and my Father in-law has a compendium of Gus saying 'Shawn' since his name is Shawn.

...I have a serious problem. But my general ringtone is the Top Gear Theme song. :D

You wanna talk about immature, the ringtone I had for Pauline was the chorus of Horny by Mousse T.

I, too, resisted getting a cell phone for as long as I could... referred to them as "electronic leashes." But then I had a disasterous trip where a cell phone would have saved my ass so much trouble. So that clinched it.

I resisted until I figured out that it would be less expensive (by almost half) to get a cell than it would be to maintain my landline, and that's what clinched it for me. It was a no-brainer.

I use "Sabotage" as my regular ringtone, and Navi saying "hey" for texts.
My wife gets the Super Mario World theme for calls and the Kim Possible tone for text.
My dad gets the Super Mario Nes theme.
My brother gets "Hell March" from red alert for phone and Navi saying "hello" for texts.
Dispatch gets "imperial march", and my boss gets "the emperors theme".

My general ringtone is:

I prefer to have a ringtone that builds gradually, like the opening of the song. Stuff that starts at full volume tends to scare the crap out of me, especially if I'm asleep. I used to have separate ringtones for people, but most people text now, so there's no point. I did have this one on one of my older phones:

Hmmm, I have several, since I have individual ringtones for everyone...

Default, Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson
Work related numbers, Imperial March from Empire Strikes Back (Vader's Theme)
Daughter is Go With the Flow from Finding Nemo the Musical
Wife's is Star Wars Main Theme
Best Buddy is White & Nerdy by Weird Al
^ his Wife is The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room
Golfing Buddy is One Jump Ahead from Aladdin
^his Wife is It's a Small World
Church Staff all have Hakuna Matata from Lion King
Mother is I'll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan
Mother in Law is Fantasmic music from Walt Disney World

Not used at this time, but already made (wife uses them)
I Just Can't Wait to be King from Lion King
Main Street Electrical Parade theme from Disneyland
Raiders of the Lost Ark Theme
Bare Necessities from Jungle Book
Siamese Cat Song from Lady and the Tramp
What this World Needs by Casting Crowns (used to be the Youth Director's ringtone)

Lots of NES music for me. Batman continue for my girlfriend, Galactus Summons from the NES Silver Surfer for work, etc.
