Why it's worth reading Cracked

Soliloquy

The quality of articles on Cracked are ludicrously uneven. You often see horribly-researched articles by people who pretend they know science or self-aggrandizing articles that are filled with blatantly-hypocritical statements. Among them are a number of kinda-informative-occasionally-funny articles that are a decent way to waste my time.

Then occasionally they publish an article like 6 Things Rich People Need to Stop Saying.

Politically, I consider myself a moderate with conservative leanings (mainly for "we-need-to-stop-spending-ourselves-into-financial-oblivion" reasons), but I find this to be a very well-thought-out and entertaining opinion piece coming from a more liberal standpoint.

I'm sure there are plenty of little details in the article that people can argue about from dawn until dusk, but this seems to me like the kind of article that 1) gets you to want to read it 2) actually promotes discussion and thoughtfulness instead of divisive political anger.

This is the kind of commentary that needs to be written. If articles like this were the norm on both sides, our political system would probably be much less broken than it is today.

Ideally you should have titled this "n" reasons why it's worth reading Cracked. n being a number between 4 and 10 chosen at your discretion.

Usually if it's Cracked article worth reading, it's by John Cheese and if it's a Cracked article not worth reading it's by the rest of their staff.

I think I just facepalmed through my face. Can someone call a doctor?

""Because I didn't inherit millions of dollars, impoverished children don't need food stamps!"

that's about right hehe.

But gravity really doesn't make sense... even if it's caused by midichlorians, it's still an invisible, immaterial force affecting everything... so i guess what i'm saying is that God stole the idea for reality from Akira Kurosawa.
