Hello there! For those of you who don't recognize the username, I am Krisken's wife. He told me that I had to make an account, and I can see why he said it. So without further ado, here are your answers:
Escushion: There are some glazes that are not safe to eat or drink off of, but I use only food-safe glazes for my work. In addition, any somewhat questionable glazes (glazes that are technically food-safe but if not taken care of properly could collect bacteria in-between cracks between the glaze) I either do not use or only use on the outside of the ware so it's even more safe than many other foodsafe pottery you'll see.
Cajuingal: I've sold a few things, but I'm really just trying to build up inventory for a special sale I'll be participating in later this month. If I include sales I've made last year I'd say I've made about $500 off my work all together.
MindDetective: Yes I can do matching sets, but I can't promise to make something that matches if a piece breaks. The problem is that everything I'm using right now is premade -- glazes, clay, etc. -- because I cannot afford to have a studio where I can make my own clay and glazes. Because companies like Amaco change their products around rather frequently, if something breaks, the glazes I used may no longer be available.
Espy: Yes! I have a shop on Etsy, but it's not completed quite yet. I still need to plan out my shipping policies and prices before I can put work up on the internet. Otherwise, I will be selling later this month in Wisconsin at an event near where Krisken and I live. I'll be sure to let people know though when art starts going up on the shop.
Hope that helps! Feel free to keep throwing questions at me. If you'd like to see all of the pictures of my recent pottery (hubs only put a few random images up), check out my deviant art link below or check out my blog. I recently put up several posts where I showed them all off.
