That's most likely what I will do I am just pissed off about it now heh. I have been a loyal employee for 3 years, I basically ran this company for the last 2 years... he pretty much just came in to write checks. So I am a bit peeved.

@drawn_inward: I am currently in college, about to finish my associates and then transfer and get my bachelors in Computer Network Administration... I am working this job because it is easy and works with my school schedule. Thats why it is hard to find jobs for me right now, there are some places hiring that I would possibly be able to get a job at but I have school from 9AM-1:30PM.

Now's the best time to find jobs, all the summer help is leaving with school starting. 9-1:30?!?! Dude... Ever hear of 2nd shift? I'm sure your local Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, generic retail shop will hire you no problem for a weekend shift. Retail always needs help in the evenings and weekends.

It doesn't sound like you have a degree. That means your choices for vocation are extremely limited.
Generally, yes, this is true.

But there are exceptions. I don't have a degree. I knocked my girlfriend up in high school, gave up a West Point scholarship to stay home and raise a family. I have never set foot in a college classroom, and I make near 90K a year as a computer programmer.

Yeah I am sure I will find a job im just impatient, I did like 30 apps in 3 days either paper or online and haven't gotten any responses yet. I am sure I will. I am applying everywhere but fast food right now, if I don't get any results in the next couple weeks I will start with the fast food. I have applied everywhere from arts and crafts stores to the movie theater to the local hardware store.

I applied for a couple data entry jobs that start at $9.75 today, that would be fucking awesome to get because thats decent money and I can type like a madman.

hey, I have a question, why would anyone try to screw you out of unemployment?
do they have to pay for it themselves over there?

hmm strange but I've started thinking that I'm maybe confusing two things we have here, there is also a part the employer has to pay but it's as if he would give you your pay for a set amount of time. After that the governement pays you and that what the governement pays is roughly translated to unemployement pay hence the confusion
