Very cool of the guy to do that for free. I'm not sure how much rework usually goes for, but I'd estimate that rework job to at LEAST match the time and cost of the original, the difference is so drastic.

Reworks are usually more expensive, because it takes more time and skill to hide the terrible work that's already there.
