Anyone else remember this promotional campaign that Burger King made? I remember this was huge at the time.

Oh, good god.... yes, I do remember this. I didn't want to, but now I do.

Someone on my Twitter feed reminded me of it. So everyone else must suffer with me. I've already run through a bunch of the old commands you could give him. :D

And Altavista is an awesome search engine. It's da bomb.

As much as I hate the '90s, I'll admit the dot-com bubble was fun while it lasted.

.... Hate the 90s?! How can you hate the 90s? The 90s was the best (and probably last good) decade!

Everyone just seemed so pissed off back then.

And everything was X-TREME! GI Joe became GI Joe Extreme. Ghostbusters became Extreme Ghostbusters. We couldn't just eat Doritos. We had to eat Doritos eXTREME! All the comic book characters became bitter anti-heroes with clenched teeth, and they had names like Night Thrasher and Darkhawk. It was like a decade-long commercial for a douchey energy drink.

I'll take Extreme Fajita Poppers at Tchotchke's Restaraunt any day over a decade of "Do you still remember 9/11? You haven't forgotten, right?" and the hopeless nonstop malaise that everything's sunk into since 2008.

Okay, THAT is true. We currently live in the most peaceful age in human history. Humanity as a whole is wealthier, healthier, and more educated than ever. But it doesn't feel that way.

I miss the God & Devil show.
And I mean the original WB version, where there was often a third option.
