Sorry to hear that. We'll be here when you get back.

I'd be willing to chip in for a month but probably would get into trouble if I tried for 2.

You're far too kind for offering something like that.

It's more a problem of very little free time at the moment. One of my sons isn't doing very well at the moment (nothing critical... that we know of) and between looking after him and his brother, full time work and my wife doing her masters program we just have no free time at the moment. So we are just taking a break until things settle down a bit.

We do want to return to Azeroth at some point though... you guys have been great fun to hang around, chat and quest with.

Okay. If you need anything, just let me (us) know!

In other news, I played for about 10 hours straight yesterday in my attempt to hit 90 from 85. Didn't make it. My ass got sore. But I'm level 89 and I damned near doubled my money from about 5k to about 9k, and that includes giving some new guy 500g as a Christmas/New Year's gift.

I should hit 90 tomorrow night. I have rehearsal tonight so I may not be on.

I spent most of yesterday working on some dailies and trying some old raids. As a Paladin it's almost impossible to solo a certain boss in Serpentshrine because every few seconds he launches a bolt that obliterates half my life. The bolt is designed to take a percent of health and only casts on mana users, which sucks. If I was a warrior or druid it would be a cake walk. I just want those pants darn it!

Shoulda sent me a message. I'd have helped out.

I tried to solo BWL. Failed. Not because I couldn't handle it, but because that first boss can't be beaten solo thanks to the adds & fear effect.

TIL Druids don't use magic.

They don't in Bear or Cat, which is how you would solo the boss. The bolt does not activate unless mana is the active pool, so Boomkin is out of luck. As a paladin, I have nothing other then mana to use, thus the problem.

I will hit you up if I see you on next time I try.

As for the first boss of BWL, I hear it is possible, but you have to be fast. I have yet to try, might do it next week.

Yet I can cast heals in feral and bear?

Not really getting your point.

When you are a bear or cat, you have rage or energy, thus you don't get hit by Cataclysmic Bolt, which can only target classes with an active mana bar. If you decide to shift into caster form to heal, or Balance, you have a mana bar, and thus get hit by Cataclysmic Bolt. I really can't get much clearer then this.

You seem to be under an odd impression that I was insinuating druids can't be casters. All I was saying is that Druids, due to shifting, have a way to avoid the mechanic that obliterates my paladin. Is that clear enough?

That's an active MP bar that goes down as I cast spells WHILE in Cat/Bear form. Is that clear enough? :)

(I'm not saying that Cataclysmic Bolt will hit Feral/Bear. I'm saying that we do have an active mana bar while in shift that does deplete when we cast)

But his whole point is Cataclysmic Bolt hits him and not you. Just because you have a mana bar that gets depleted in bear form doesn't mean anything. -_-

Thinking about starting fresh on WRA, not sure what I'm making but I'll post the name and such whenever I finally decide. Leaning to Hunter, Monk or maybe DK so I can skip some leveling.

Gonna be on a DK named Befoul. I'll keep an eye out for anyone online. Also, feel free to add Potatofamine#1633 to your friends. I've got a ton of 85-90's on Steamwheedle for randoms.

Got up to Exaulted with the Tillers, Order of the Cloud Serpent. Getting close to Exaulted with Golden Lotus, Revered with Klaxxi. Started doing raids. Man, I have had NO luck with the coins.

I can finally get some Spirits of Harmony going with the Tillers.

Once you get the commendation, you can get exalted with the Order in a day, if you get lucky with eggs. Best time for the motherlode is around 6am EST, right when dailies reset.

If you ever worked on Netherwing rep in BC, it's the same idea. Eggs are hidden around the main daily island for the rep and can be turned in for massive easy rep. The problem is they're a single-person loot and take about an hour to respawn. I think there's maybe 5-7 spawned at most. I had an easy time on my Monk farming them a couple times a day, but my server is fairly dead and I'm on PST on an EST server.

Never even saw them. Though, because I'm maxed in all my secondary professions, I was able to grind through pretty quick.[DOUBLEPOST=1357468061][/DOUBLEPOST]Speaking of grinding, holy crap shando pan has a ton of dailies.

They're hard to spot. Gnome-sized and there's no item-sparkle, plus they're usually up on the cliffs/hills. You won't really stumble over them, you really have to be actively looking for them.

Woot! Hit exaulted with the Anglers. It also got us a guild achievement, no reward, though.

The mount will actually be more functional on my alts who DON'T have a spell that already lets them ride mounts on the water :p

It's a great alt mount for those levels you don't have flying, so much easier to get around when you can just run over water.

Right now I actually started focusing on doing Golden Lotus, after so long pretty much avoiding it. Will be happy when I get it to Revered though so I can get the token and speed through to Exalted.

Also this reminds me of something that is kind of pissing me off this expansion, the same mount from the same vendor that have different costs for only a different color. I mean come on, I can buy the one of the Tillers goats for barely anything, then the white one costs a couple thousand. They never had that system before. Well I guess I should look on the bright side, at least they are not using the higher cost across the board, I still shutter looking at the cost of the jewelcrafting tigers.

Yeah that is weird. I was looking at them and trying to figure out how they were different. They weren't. Just color. And price.

And since I'm cheap, I passed on the expensive ones. Actually I passed on them all. I have Tyriel's mount, which flies and keeps getting faster as my flying skill goes up. No reason for anything else, really.

Just hit Exalted with Operation: Shieldwall and finished up the 5.1 storyline. (Glad to see all the rumors about Anduin due to datamining were false). As well as completing the 5.1 Legendary quests. I'm at Exalted with all the MoP factions/friends (minus Pat), I got everything done at my farm, I'm almost completely done gearing up in Valor/LFR gear. I'm officially ready and salivating at the bit for 5.2 now.

Operation: Shieldwall? I don't even know what that is!

But we did get the Guild Achieve for doing all the scenarios in a Guild Group yesterday.

I used to be like you, but now that everything is account-based the collector in me just can't refuse getting mounts, pets, or titles. The only ones I hold off on now are the ones that cost way to much for me to afford without major farming, like those jewelcrafter tigers and the travelers yak.

Not sure what that means. Guys! I think Adam has been infected! SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD!
I overgamed this weekend; and it's all your fault! Dave and my wife conspired against me to make me play computer games all weekend. Also Jay helped.
