Booked my plane tickets to New York (and back home, sadly). Get to spend a week with my best friend... doing... uh... stuff...? Maybe? Is there anything happening in NYC or is it sorta low-key?
How'd you find that deal? My kids would like that.I picked up Epic Mickey 2 today, brand new, from Best Buy for $6.99 and tax. I had kept putting off getting this right when it came out, and now very, very happy I did. $33 dollars off regular price!
Have fun!I'm going on a date this week.
It was an advertised Presidents Day sale. How'd you find that deal? My kids would like that.
5 days.My wife is wondering how long it will take the sphere of chaos surrounding Jet to pull this thing into his clutches.
Take lots of pictures. It'll destroy his mind when he gets older.5 days.
Just in case you were curious.
It's now a 'ship from star wars'.
That's awesome Pez.Today is shaping up to be a good day. First: I did a lot better on my two History quizzes this week than I thought I would. I really thought I'd be lucky to get above an 80 on either of them, especially considering I had to stay up late the night before the quiz on a Mark Twain biography in order to finish reading half of the book. I got a 96 on each of the quizzes, which is better than I did on the first quiz.
Second: Sociology class was cancelled today. As nice as it is to get done with my classes early today, the best part was how I found out. I was sitting in the hall studying, with my headphones on when I noticed a cute girl standing in front of me trying to get my attention. I took out my earbuds and she asked if I was in her Sociology class; she recognized me and wanted to let me know that the prof had left a note on the door cancelling class. WOOO! A human being from my class has paid enough attention to me to recognize me while I've got my head in a book and and cared enough to go out of their way to get my attention and be nice to me. This is really exciting for me, and that she's cute is just icing on the cake.
Just some experiential advice: try using your headphones less/not at all in public spaces, especially ones where you see the same people regularly. It makes you waaaay more approachable (although obviously not a problem for this girl) and you meet more people. Maybe that's not your style but it helped me expand my social circles.Today is shaping up to be a good day. First: I did a lot better on my two History quizzes this week than I thought I would. And here is an example of how your environment can affect your mood. If the person sitting next to you had been noisy, flatulent, and rude, you might have felt the play speaking to you as an omen.I always find I enjoy a show more when I get to sit next to a pretty girl. Not that the play needed enhancing, it was really quite good. A shortened version of "No Exit" by Jean Paul Sartre.
Correct you are! Although, I will be borrowing your couch later. Just so you know.If that were me I'd finish up by saying "...and made it all the way to the couch."
But since you're not on my couch, I'll assume you got other stuff done besides just getting up too.
You know, if you are having problems down there, you should tell your doctor. They've got all kinds of pills nowadays. At a spa resort for the weekend. Just got a 75 minute full body massage from a Megan Fox lookalike and did not pop a boner the entire time. Yes!
I was too anxious the entire time. My first massage ever and i didn't know what to expect. I saw the fact I didn't run out of the room screaming as a winYou know, if you are having problems down there, you should tell your doctor. They've got all kinds of pills nowadays.
