I think you missed the self-depreciating humor of that strip.View attachment 10144
Go fuck yourself, Trudeau. I read dozens of comics on a regular basis, and none of them in print. Some of them aren't even available in print. There are even more comics I could be reading, but don't have time for.
The self-deprication is based on "oh-ho, comics aren't vitally important!" and has nothing to do with alternatives being available.I think you missed the self-depreciating humor of that strip.
That is a bit more Pam Anderson than natural...That goes into the Earthporn thread.
SquareEnix was already charging to rez your own characters in their new mobile Final Fantasy. So yeah, it's pretty much true.I almost posted this in the funny pics thread... but really... it's not.
I too cried when I saw Nickleback and KISS in that picture...Dammit, I have something in my eye...
Dammit, now I want to watch Blade Runner.
Bacon with sweets? I dunno.. And anything can look good if you present it right:Denny’s New Baconalia Menu
Salted Caramel Brownie Sundae with Bacon
Caramel Bacon Stuffed French Toast
Dammit, why does this look so good?
I disagee, that still looks like something I wouldn't want to eat.Bacon with sweets? I dunno.. And anything can look good if you present it right:
Yup. Haggis.
Oddly, the actual photos look nasty. I'm kind of jaded to food photography, especially overly produced stuff like that. The bacon looks rubbery and cheap, the ice cream and brownie look like they contain more sugar than any worthwhile ingredients, the french toast looks dry and filled with glue. Still, for some reason, the concept still seems really tasty to me.Bacon with sweets? I dunno.. And anything can look good if you present it right:
Hey, if you want to cook a turkey with a garment steamer under a bunch of lights, you too can be a food stylist.I've worked around food photographers before... man some of the substitutes that they because of the heat of the lights are ingenious and gross at the same time.
