By hearing it spoken in the very same episode. Duh. Kill-tipsy-zim!
And, yet, you didn't get even that right. You said, "Miz-yes-spit-lick!" While Gilbert Gottfried said:It is a debated pronunciation indeed and the question plagues many minds, but I'm gonna stick with what I heard in the animated series just for certainties sake.
I read its a reference to the band "Yes", they might have changed them to zs for copyright. Either way I think both pronunciations are applicable, though I may still just be saying that since I heard an "s" sound rather than a "z" sound so it might just be my perception. And, yet, you didn't get even that right. You said, "Miz-yes-spit-lick!" While Gilbert Gottfried said:
Mix - yezz - spit - lick.
See you in 90 days.By hearing it spoken in the very same episode. Duh. Kill-tipsy-zim!
Well, there's always Madcap.I freakin' love Freakazoid. Now, I know that the art style of Freakazoid is based on Madman and some have even claimed that is downright plagiarism of it. Well, I have read two TPBs of the comic and while I admit its weird its not so much the whacky cartoon weird of Freakazoid, but more trippy colorful acid trip weird. Was the whole controversy based on what the character looked like? If so its seems silly to me.
They also keep premiering the new episodes during the week on prime time, basically undermining the point of having the DC hour. The show isn't terrible (it's even funny sometimes) but it could be so much more. Oh, and don't expect them to be heroes... this is a comedy series, first and foremost.I'm watching the first episode of Teen Titans Go.
...
NO. Just no. This is the same voice actors, but it is not the same characters. This is not Teen Titans. The writing is crap, and they haven't done any superheroing. Oh, there were fights, but it had nothing to do with being heroes. There were jokes, but they weren't funny. There were insults, but they weren't very snarky.
This is making me so very very sad.
Your FINALLY is missing at least ten "I"s. Wish they'd air the rest of the G-8 arc but whatevs. They also keep premiering the new episodes during the week on prime time, basically undermining the point of having the DC hour. Oh well... at least we're FINALLY getting One Piece on Toonami, even if it has to start 200+ episodes in.
I don't think they could, even if they wanted to. 4Kids did all those episodes and Funimations didn't want to re-translate them unless they were going to be on TV. So we're starting at the point Funimation picked it up, I think.Your FINALLY is missing at least ten "I"s. Wish they'd air the rest of the G-8 arc but whatevs.
GUM GUM STORM! I also love how the Baroque works saga is a clear metaphor for the gulf war conflict! The Crocodile fight was awesome. It's the shifting point from a goofy kids anime to something with a little more meat and meaning behind it. Luffy becomes much less 1D.
Immediately thought of this.Still watching Deadwood. I never want kidney stones. Ever.
lolSignfeld? .
I've seen less than 10 episodes of Seinfeld.Immediately thought of this.
Is anyone else not sure if they've seen every episode of Signfeld? I think I have, but I ain't sure. On the one hand it bugs me a little, but on the other hand I don't care enough to check on Wikipedia.
Well then NO SOUP FOR YOU!I've seen less than 10 episodes of Seinfeld.
Community definitely took a few episodes to find its stride, but once the establishing BS is out of the way and they start getting down to style parodies, it gets a lot better. It wasn't all bad. There were some parts that I enjoyed, and I know that I should probably give it more of a chance... but man... I really don't want to. Probably not gonna, at least for a while.
Huh? Do you mean Joel McHale? I don't remember Joe Rogan being in the show, is he in early episodes?Joe Rogan
Maybe I'll try again in the summer. I don't have a lot of patience trying new shows sometimes, especially during the school year.[DOUBLEPOST=1368038188][/DOUBLEPOST]Community definitely took a few episodes to find its stride, but once the establishing BS is out of the way and they start getting down to style parodies, it gets a lot better.
HAH yes! I kept mixing them up yesterday too! Thank you.Huh? Do you mean Joel McHale? I don't remember Joe Rogan being in the show, is he in early episodes?
That... is actually one of the few I saw. It wasn't a bad series in my opinion, but I just didn't connect to it at all.Well then NO SOUP FOR YOU!
Haha... 90's.
I understand this completely and even my friend who treats Community like a religion, placing it directly behind the Wire as the second greatest tv show of all time ( I disagree big time although I do like the show), would agree. The first three or four episodes are very weak. Doesn't really find its legs until after the first Halloween episode.I watched the first 2 episodes of Community last night. I'd heard great things, and I was excited to check it out. Not sure if I'm gonna keep going, though. I don't enjoy Joel McHale that much. His character seems contrived and just sort of "there." I know that every story's been told a million times, but this "cocky guy going after smart girl" story isn't grabbing me. Also the character who everyone says has Asperger's just bums me out. It felt like someone was screaming "GET IT? HE'S AWKWARD!" during all of his lines. That's what the whole show felt like: A person poking me and asking "get it?"
