[TV] Winter HAS COME! - A Game of Thrones

They sure are deviating in season 3 a lot. Some were interesting changes.. some not so much.

I miss the scene where Arya kills The Tickler while going, WHERE IS THE GOLD over and over again. Then leaving the place blood everywhere and reading in the book, "It doesn't matter, the rain will clean it off."

COLD, so cold.

HA HA HA "I used to be King in the North, then I took an arrow to the everything"

Thumbs up: "Game of Thrones: a show for those who can't deal with the sunny optimism of The Walking Dead."

The funniest part to me is that through this all and even though everyone is saying that the Starks are done, really,
only Eddard and Robb are dead. The rest are scattered but very much alive - even though at this point Jon Snow is up in the air.

Well, the TV crowd also doesn't know about
the impending resurrection of Catelyn Stark by Beric Dondarrion, so to them the only starks left are just pawns to be used by the major players - IE, children who have little to no say in their fate

"The Starks" is also like, their army.

The German Shepherd comforting her owner was sweet...[DOUBLEPOST=1370294466][/DOUBLEPOST]George must be watching those reactions and soaking in all the fear and hatred...

I haven't read the books, but my wife has so it drives her a bit nutty with the theories I purport.

Robb Stark is going to die for ignoring his oath, hopefully taking his new wife and mother with him. Probably in something gruesome, but I am hoping for ignominious.

Joffrey will die painfully and easily, he's just to self centred and unaware to avoid it.

Jamie and the girl knight live happily ever after and stop playing the game of thrones.

The dragons are the solution to the zombies.

John Snow doesn't die, he's too stupid to die. In the end it's just him, Hodor and Tyrion left.

Twyin is the best character of them all. He eventually takes Arya as his squire and trains her to rule the north for him after marrying her to some grandson or something.

Theon dies in lots of pain and humiliation. Then becomes the internets favourite gif.

I hope the red head survives. But if she falls in love with John Snow she's dead. Never date full retard.

Staniss continues to be awesome. Oooh! Maybe he kills what's left of the Starks for being stupid, thus claiming the North and going one on one with Tywin in a dramatic final book showdown!
Aha! So I see I was right about Robb!

I am actually quite upset about last nights episode. Yes, the death was inevitable and horribly predictable, I was not a fan of the stabbing of a pregnant woman in the belly repeatedly. I get that the wolf had to die, and it helped show Arya the fate of her family, but it could have been better with just her seeing the dead wolfs corpse.

But I am really really upset by what this sets in motion and I had hoped it would be delayed for a great deal longer. With Robb dead, the war is over. Bolton runs the North, Riverrun will be besieged and with the hostages they have, will quickly come under foot, the Aerie Valley people will be brought to bear by Baelish (hopefully by him bedding the freaky sister then dropping her down the hole in the sky), so that just leaves a huge run on sentence and the Ironborn, and who really cares about them.

So peace returns to the 7 realms and that is, well bad for the story. And organized realm quickly dispatches the zombies and deals with Daenerys in a fashion just as horrible as Robb.

So that leaves me with the inevitable, for the story to advance, Kings Landing must be in disarray. Meaning one simple and one harsh truth.

Joffrey dies soon and quickly, probably before fathering a child.

And most importantly and what really grinds my gears,

Tywin has to die.

With him in the picture, the7 realms are just too strong for any decent story to develop. So I must say goodbye to my favourite character on the show.

Fucking Robb Stark going back the Freys too fuckin soon,

I just hope that Tywin is killed by the Red Womans magic, as no one is left in Kings Landing with the stones to do it properly. Bronn could do it, but Bronn works for Bronn. He's most likely going to separate from Tyrion in the future over something stupid Tyrion does. I just hope that it doesn't end up being Tyrion that kills Tywin, as it would most likely be clumsy and foolish like that scene in Unforgiven when the near sighted guy shoots the guy in the outhouse. Tywin needs to die more poignantly than that. If there is a fuck you dad moment, it needs to come from Jamie and his new found redemption with Brienne.

I think we can all agree that last nights episode should have ended with Robb's dead face looking absolutely shocked and dumbfounded that honourable intentions cannot assuage unstrategic actions.

And how awesome was the foreshadowing about Robb now needed his mothers advice to start the episode, and rightfully she is the first to suspect then discover the treachery and ultimately survive the longest.
