[TV] Winter HAS COME! - A Game of Thrones

So I've been holding off on reading book 3 until the current season finished, even though I know it cuts off part way through the book. I'm just recently got past the Red Wedding, and am past the next wedding in the book and the aftermath of that and the wedding after that one. And can I just say - what in the fuckity fuck was that?! I mean, in two King's Landing based chapters what I have been hoping for and what I've been dreading both happened! So not fair.

You know, watching the scenes of just Tyrion and Cersei in season 2, it doesn't feel like she would want him killed. She's a more human character in the show than in the book and they seem more like siblings who accept each other. She also knows what Joffrey is, as opposed to in the book where she appears clueless to the monster she's spawned.

It'll be interesting to see how they approach her when it comes time to adapt book 4.

I like how everybody is like "it was horrible but brilliantly acted" and variations thereupon, and then Charles Dance just coolly explains Tywin's justification and nothing else.

Charles Dance owns.

Looks assholes, he's an asshole in a world of assholes and he did an asshole thing like any asshole in his position (between the asscheeks) would.
