Heh, actually, no! The a and the nal were spaced out just enough that I never even considered the word was anal.
I mean the N sorta looks like a V, too. Maybe she said "I do a Val"?
Some posts aren't worth responding to. If someone's going on a rant and tags it "die cishet scum", I just flag it as hate speech and let the other idiot wonder why their blog suddenly went poof.
(Case in point: someone was calling Weird Al "worse than a rapist" over the Word Crimes song. Called him a "hook-nosed white person", among other incoherencies. And yes, used that tag above.)

Tumblr's a great way to share images. If it had existed when I was doing webcomics, I would've used it for that. Hell, I sort of did when I made that Pokemon Nuzlocke comic. But in that regard, I like it for humor, hype, etc. Any important issues one sees on Tumblr need to be double-checked like you read them on Wikipedia. I'm mostly there for fun stuff.
I know I'm going to regret asking, but what was this person's "logic" that made "Word Crimes" comparable to rape? I can't fathom how correct grammar is in any way a form of assault.
Spastic is used in it and, technically, that's a derogatory term.
Weird Al immediately apologized via twitter because he didn't know. Reminds me of how I ddn't know retarded was a derogatory until just a few years ago because everyone around these parts uses it to mean something crazy. Didn't occur to me it had a real negative conotation DESPITE being called a ratard in elementary school and being hurt by it.
Anyways, he apologized.
There's a rabid SJW subset of the opinion that "proper English" is nothing more than a tool of rich white male oppression. This one in particular sees the song as a direct attack on a wide list of communities that aren't white, male, or straight.
I would reply to this, but I tend to use proper grammar as a former English major, and I don't want to offend anyone.

Oh, this one in particular deserves all the consideration of a punch in the mouth. I TOFTT and checked their front page. The mission statement is hate towards Whites, straights, and cis. Reported it to tumblr support as a hate site.
And yet again, it's a white person's blog.
I cringe to imagine what the "writing" is like on this blog if proper English is a sign of racism.

That is only considering that they are not trolls in the first place.
I've come to the conclusion that there are two kinds of social justice people: those who are actually trying to do some good, and those who "champion" a cause because they sees themselves as morally superior and gives them carte blanche to speak/act/blame anyone but themselves however they want. It's usually pretty easy to see which is which.

The thing about stuff like this, though, is that everyone assumes it's the next guy. "Oh, Marge, look at that guy texting on his phone while the waiter is trying to help him!
