In totally unrelated news, my girlfriend got a new tattoo. Pretty cool on one her wrist - a dream catcher. Really classy and cool.

And it got me thinking. What if I got a tattoo of my own? The only one I'd ever seriously considered was the Superman shield on my upper arm, where a t-shirt covers.

I don't know. If I were to get a tattoo, what could you see me getting and where?
Didn't you used to hate tattoos? This girl is winning you over.

And I think the superman shield would be very fitting on you.

The little league World Series has a kid named Blake Money and a girl name Mo'ne Davis. If they got married, she'd be Mo'ne Money.

I'm sitting in line waiting for cell and molecular biology advising. What year is this? Where am I? Who are all these 18 year olds? When did I get so old?

Also it's hot as balls.

Whenever I visit my alma mater, I feel like they've been admitting younger and younger students.

I've missed the story. You're back in the States and going to college? You don't already have a degree? As a person who took quit college and went back and finished, yes, everyone looks like they are out for recess (and most act like it too). Welcome to the oldest guy in the class club! Wait til you're older than your professor; that's fun.

I was a professor during the recession. The class dynamic became very non-traditional. I taught 200+ student geology 101 classes (among others) which consisted mostly of freshmen and sophomores. Probably 10-20% of the class was middle aged to elderly. Counting students outside of 18-21, could've been as high as 35% during the really tight years.

Yeah I came back just last week. I already have a degree in Linguistics but I came back from China so I can do Medical/Dental school. Unsurprisingly I'm missing a lot of the hard science prerequisites as a holder of a degree in Linguistics. I'll be doing my pre-med courses at The University of South Florida and if I do Medical school, I hope I can go back to the University of Florida (where I got my original degree). Dental school...well, this is a relatively new thought for me so I need to look into it more. I'll hopefully be shadowing a dentist over the next few months to see if I like it. Right now I'm a bio major just so I can sign up for the required courses. There really isn't a "pre-med" major.

Sometimes I hate Youtube comments because it reminds me of how stupid people are. Then there are Youtube comments that just get uncomfortable. I wanted to listen to a song from Tangled, and I scrolled down. Cool conversations, actually, until someone said the movie made him feel weird because Mother Gothel reminded him of his own mother.

Yeah, just ... yeah.

Mother Gothel was a surprisingly real villain. She reminded me of my ex's mother quite a bit. Ex thought so too. I think that's why she loves that movie so much, because it's overcoming that type of personality.

I'm ashamed that I took part in the ALS challenge. :( Mostly because of the gimmick, not because of what is being supported. And I'm just glad I wore two white shirts.

Sheeeeeeep!

:p

People are changing it up to break the mold. Nostalgia Critic filled a bucket with Vanilla Ice discs and dumped it on him.

Donations for this month are up 1000% over donations for the same year last month because of the challenge. The gimmick is bringing awareness.

I predict that a lot of charities will try to start memes in the coming months. Up next:

- The Egg Juggling Challenge (to benefit ovarian cancer)
