A few years ago they did a crossover in the comics, been meaning to get it.
I saw the latest episode of Gravity Falls. It's a shame there seems to be a bit of an odd scheduling for episodes, but at least the show is still awesome. Good story in this latest episode, with a central element of Mabel making a puppet show, and the grand return of Bill Cipher.

As for the episode I really liked and also,
who else squeeed like all hell when Bill's shadow appeared?
For me, personally,
I really dug how creepy Bill Cipher can be. Even though they played most of his abuse of Dipper's body for laughs, they still captured his menace well, such as the shot when he's in the reverend outfit and lifting up the wedding cake.
Also, totally dug the Statler and Waldorf routine from Old Man McGucket and Grunkle Stan.

The episodes of Steven Universe the past few week have been legitimately disturbing... but the wrongness of this song takes the cake.
How doe Steven not have to go to a therapist yet? His mom's dead, his dad lives and works at a car wash, the three people who take care of him are actually magical gem people who don't understand human culture despite being thousands of years old, he's watched one them DIE at least once, and I'm not even going to get into the shit that happens during Cat Fingers or Rose's Room.

And I honestly think Steven not being a mess show's that while he has an innocent facade, he is much more mature than he lets on and rather than let the hardships in his life weigh him down he simply lets it go rather than dwelling on it and letting it fester. Either that, or he's in deep denial but I personally like the former.
Newest Ninja Turtles ep is on Nick dot com two days earlier. The ep goes to its b-movie mocking roots with a ghost villain straight out Big Trouble in Little China, hell he's even voiced by James Hong!

Don't let him get to you. He's barely in the series and it's fantastic.
Oh good. And yeah I wasn't going to give up, everything else is great and the action is especially impressive. The texture and model work on the show is a bit sloppy in parts (that junker alien that stole R2 was especially terrible), but I'm still in the first season so I figure it'll start looking better.
The only thing I can really say about Clone Wars other than it's pretty great is that is ends on a cliffhanger. Disney is SUPPOSED to be putting out a few more episodes to finish the series but t hasn't happened yet and Star War Rebels is coming out soon. I suppose we COULD get closure in that though.

Eating through the first season now. I'm about 7 in, and liking it a lot. It's reminiscent of the X-Files with the switching between the running lore and frequent monster-of-the-week episodes. Also, the effects mostly don't suck, which is a huge concern with the network TV shows.

Bojack Horseman
Eh. It's kind of flat. Bojack's character is all over the board, so I can't really pin him down. He goes from douchebag to honorable within a single episode. Aaron Paul is typecast. I really, really like the title sequence, though. I don't FF through it like most shows. It strongly reminds me of Ugly Americans, only not from the straight man's perspective.

I think those episodes will be under the "Rebels" title.
Yeah I thought it was alright, but I did like that it
wasn't just wrapped with a happy ending. "I really wanted you to like me, Diane" was a great way to close the show.
Possibly... it really all depends on how close Rebels is to the timeline of A New Hope. It takes place after the Empire is up and running, which means we're talking at least a few years of a time skip.
I'm assuming that CW takes place between Ep 2 and 3? Haven't watched the flicks in awhile, but judging by Anakin and Obi Wan that seems about right.
Yeah, the Clone Wars takes place between those two movies, after the first Clone Wars mini-series (by Gendy Tartovski or however that is spelled) but before Episode 3.

Genndy Tartakovsky, I think - though I could have sworn he used to spell it Gennedy. I remember when he first started doing his own cartoons for CN, and they had little bumpers with him explaining who he was and what his new show "Dexter's Lab" was about - and my main thought was "Damn if that guy doesn't look just like the main character of his show, grown up."
He very much is, but then he put out Johnny Bravo and Samurai Jack, won a whole crap ton of awards for all three shows... and proceeded to get FUCKED by the network time after time, starting with reviving Dexter's Lab without his consent or input, the revival of the Clone Wars concept using his art style but in CG without his input, and ending with the cancelling of Symbionic Titan. The stated reason for cancelling is that the toy companies wouldn't touch the show (no one wanted to make toys for boys with Ilana as a main character) but the actual reason was an on-going contract issue: Genndy was going to be doing movies for Sony Pictures Animation and CN wanted to keep him instead.
So Genndy has a two picture deal with Sony: the first was Hotel Transylvania, which did alright, and the next is Popeye. After that he's said that he gets to pick his own project if they want to keep him and it's likely to be Samurai Jack, as he own the rights to that still.
Popeye will likely destroy him.

I am sure it will be good, but my 86 year old dad won't be dragging his 20 year old grand kids to a movie for a character that was important when he was a kid.
It really depends on how much free reign they are giving him with the character. If he modernized it a bit, I could definitely see something the resonated with people. Like... how about something where Popeye is the old grizzled drill sergeant of a bunch fresh seamen and the movie is basically both sides just pulling the meanest, funniest pranks they can on each other? Toss in some fun fist fight scenes and you'd have at least something watchable, which is REALLY the best you can hope for with this character.
