So, I've had a couple of projects in the works for some time, but they keep getting shoved to the back burner. BUT Nate worked out a prototype for some pretty intense wings I'm planning on making. My favorite part is that they're hinged, so they work independently of each other and can rotate straight back and to the side. UGH, they're going to be so beautiful, I can hardly stand it.

...yeah, they're called wedges...they're pretty common in the shoe world of women. =^^=
I don't mean that. I've seen wedge sandals before, I just haven't seen any in that style that looks like they came straight out of Zero To Hero. You know, the "sword-and-sandals" style sandal.

Posted these in the Halloween thread, but figured I may as well post them here, since, my costume isn't just for Halloween..
So, here's what I do, if I don't want to find a pattern or buy one, I just use shirts that have the shape I want:
And here's what it looks like all pinned together.
I mean, I can make it work.
I am SO in love with this wig, I want to start wearing it just for fun outside of cosplay. It's so pretty!!
I'll post more pictures of the dress when it's farther along. But yeah! Hades is a go and I'm really excited. I'm not excited I have to paint myself again, but other than that, this costume should be lots of fun.
