[Gaming] Diablo 3 : Ser Farm-A-Lot

I switched one of my WDs to Carnevil and it's pretty awesome :)
Oooh, nice!

I really want to get this engine running but I know it will take a while.

Sadly I'm at the point where I can't kill my Nemesis, and the freaking thing keeps killing me. Crapola.

Well, I did it. I found another Rhen'ho Flayer, this time it dropped with a socket. The damage isn't very impressive (the old one had more damage) but with the socket I was able to bump my lying screen damage to 1086k. My critical hit chance is 41.5 while my Critical hit damage is 396, so there is room for increasing due to Paragon leveling and making them more equal.

Oh, and I made Paragon 246! Man, do I miss the experience event!!!

New mission, finding 2 Unity. The Enchantress is doing splendid in the 'not dying' department, and she should give a little sugar to Ator over here.

Still grinding my seasonal achievements. 30 days remain and I want to be at a minimum sub-500 by season's end (and I'm at 598 right now).

Is that a ranking? I know nothing of this seasonal thing (le sigh, they should update the old systems already)
Yes. Achievements give you points (usually 10-40 per achievement), and I am currently ranked at ~600 for total seasonal points in NA. It's probably the only real dent I'll be able to make, since I don't have the free time to be able to do some of the other stuff that gets your name on a leaderboard, stuff like First to 70, or First to Malthael, etc. I went and did quite a few of the achievements that require specific stuff, so now I'm doing many of the easy ones in the hopes that other people will look at the ones they are missing and say, "Screw it. I won't be able to do that before February."

I'm not going to play so hard for this in Season 2, I just wanted to say I was a momentary bigwig in Season 1.

Spending bloodshards I was hoping to get a Cindercoat for my firefrog build. Instead I got a Jade Harvester's Peace and a 3 socket Zunimassa's Marrow. Hot damn!

I have spent a scary number of shards and still no Taskers and Theo. Boo on Kadala!
Yeah, I don't expect to ever get that one. I'm on my third Mask of Jeram, which just dropped today (higher damage, too). That Cindercoat would up my damage to insane levels though. Another 20% to fire would make the elites on T5 melt away and give me a chance on T6. I'm currently comfortable against almost anything in T5.

To their stats. Ancient legendaries I think they're calling them? Evidently crafted ones have a chance to be ancient as well. I'm sitting on a foolish number of forgotten souls, I'll see of I can remake my bracers later.

Legendary/set items already have the chance to roll affixes at a higher tier than "normal" (blue/yellow) items. Aside from set bonuses and legendary effects, it is what makes them "legendary." As an example, a yellow item's "+xx% to <blah> damage" affix can only range from 10%-15%, while a legendary item can go from 15%-20%. Another example is stat bonuses, which on (most) level 70 yellow items (rings, shoulders) can only go from 350-415, while on legendary items that stat could be 416-500. Notice that in both cases the range of the legendary item picks up where the rare item left off. The ancient legendaries are just going to continue this philosophy, so they'll probably be 501-575 or whatever the next "tier" would be. Blizzard has said that not every affix will be affected, though, so things like attack speed or pickup radius will probably still be capped at whatever their max is now.

Graaahhh so many obligations and my schedule won't let me play for more than a few hours a week and the season is ending soon and I didn't put this rant in the rant thread because it's Diabl0-related and I might get to do a special project at work which would be great but it would take me away from playing even earlier than season's end and conflict and my brain aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh...

If I can be of any help with those let me know :)

I had thought there was an achievement for soloing a level 30 rift but maybe it's only on a seasonal character. My poor seasonal WD isn't up for the challenge.

Us old console users are getting +100% Legendary find. Going ok so far, found 2 meh Golds and a pretty decent Jade boots piece.

We do. I haven't happened across any of the nonstandard gobs yet, though.
(I mean, aside from rainbow gobs. Those things are everywhere)

In the last two hours I've had 5 legendary items and 2 set items drop. This is crazy.

Hell, I opened a chest and got two legendary items just from that.

One thing I noticed, though, is I NEVER get a legendary or set item after killing a Rift guardian. Is that a thing? That you never get anything better than the yellow stuff and blood shards from them?

I only very rarely get legendaries from regular rift guardians. I do, however, usually get 2-3 from greater rift guardians.[DOUBLEPOST=1421510535,1421510465][/DOUBLEPOST]

In a rift last night, we easily had 8 regular treasure goblins, two gem ones and two of the tormentors. The tormentors drop 4+ legendaries each when killed.
